Currently, I am based in Guangzhou, China and am teaching geography and European history at Guangzhou No.2 Foreign Languages School. Our students are planning to study abroad in America, England, and New Zealand.
Later this year, upon completing my contract, I intend to move to Indonesia and pursue a position with Bina Bangsa International.
My hobbies include traveling, photography, and learning new languages. In recent years I've taken more interest in environmental issues, and have volunteered for organizations in Michigan and Asia.

I began teaching English as a second language (ESL) in public high schools in Chengdu,China in 2006. I worked for a Canadian based program preparing students for study abroad. During my time in Chengdu, I also worked for Sichuan University (ILTC) and New Oriental language schools. The focus of most of the courses I taught was on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) along with language training for companies.
In 2013, I returned to my hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan to spend more time with my mother and my two younger brothers there. After staying in Michigan for three years, I began to plan my return to South East China to work in the Hong Kong area.
